Reward Offered To Catch Alleged Purse Thief In Morris County

MORRISTOWN, NJ — The Morristown Bureau of Police and the Morris County Sheriff's CrimeStoppers Unit are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a theft.
According to police reports, the man stole approximately $3,300 from a purse, that contained several items, including several credit cards.
The alleged crime occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 4 in Morristown. According to police, the man was caught on a security camera leaving the Horseshoe Tavern, located at 36 Speedwell Avenue, with the stolen purse.
