See Plans For Headquarters Plaza Transformation In Morristown
'HQ Plaza' has added 14 new leases in the last year alone, as the Speedwell Avenue complex continues evolving.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Plans for a "dramatic renovation" of Headquarters Plaza have been unveiled, with the 1-million-square-foot complex set to add more businesses and totally revamp the interior.
The owners announced new plans Tuesday to further enhance the complex, which will be known as "HQ Plaza," with more shopping and dining options and additional office tenants.
Architects at Gensler, the firm behind the recent redesign of the Hyatt Regency Morristown, shared renderings that show a modern concourse with greenery, bright lighting, and seating for customers. The open-concept area will allow people to get easily from the office towers to the Hyatt, "and will activate various lounge areas, dining and workspaces throughout the main corridor."

"The new design centers around providing our tenants with access to contemporary workspaces, thoughtfully-curated hospitality, entertainment and the finest dining that Morris County has to offer," said Brian Fisher, principal partner at Fisher Development Associates.
The plaza has added 14 new leases in the last year alone, according to developers. Three new restaurant concepts will take up the plaza's prime retail space along Speedwell Avenue and create a "restaurant row" near Morristown's heart, the owners said: Sushi Lounge, Parkside Tavern and Masseria by Joe Cetrulo.

In a statement, Mayor Tim Dougherty said the development's evolution is a "foundational part" of elevating Morristown as a premier corporate and residential destination.
“This iconic complex has long been a hub of professional activity, offering the Morristown community a range of expansive amenities. The planned renovations will further enhance its capacity to serve the Town," said Dougherty. "Contributing to the vibrancy of downtown, the new HQ Plaza will establish a revitalized epicenter for business, retail and dining on the Green, while also driving activity for the existing shops and restaurants along Speedwell Avenue."
