MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A line of severe thunderstorms are making their way toward Morris County, triggering a warning by the National Weather Service (NWS) on Thursday morning.
Gusty winds up to 60 miles per hour and penny-sized hail are possible as a storm cell moves east over New Jersey. Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines may occur.
This current alert is in effect until 9:45 a.m. Thursday, per the NWS.

Just before 9 a.m., weather officials said that "severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Hope to High Bridge to near Sand Brook, moving east at 50 mph."
Locations impacted include Morristown, Madison, Dover, Florham Park, East Hanover, Chatham, Boonton, and Wharton.
