Straight A’s For Morristown Medical Center Once Again, Ranking Says

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Once again, Morristown Medical Center has been given the highest grade from The Leapfrog Group, a watchdog organization that says it aims to improve American health care through transparency.

Morristown Medical Center is among 35 NJ hospitals that received an ‘A’ grade in the ranking, and among 17 to receive an ‘A’ for more than one consecutive ranking. Morristown has gotten an ‘A’ eight times.

The Leapfrog Group’s Fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grades are a biannual ranking that assigns a “A,” “B,” “C,” “D,” or “F” to all general hospitals in the United States based on their ability to protect patients from medical errors, accidents, injuries, and infections.

The grades are given after Leapfrog Group analyzes the hospitals’ skills in the following categories: infections, problems with surgery, safety problems, practices to prevent errors, and doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.
