Morristown's Jeff Mrozak 'Makes Our School A Better Place':Teacher Spotlight

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Great teachers matter. In Morristown, we're fortunate to have teachers like Jeff Mrozak.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Jeff has created a citizen science program within his grade 8 class where the students sample the water from the local river to observe the impact of road salt on the river's health. He has expanded the program to include grade 4 students which allows his grade 8 students to be teachers themselves. This unit encompasses the climate change standards for New Jersey. Jeff also is part of a pitbull rescue group and works tirelessly to help any animal in need. He is continuously voted by the students to give the speech at graduation each year. He is a kind soul and makes our school a better place.

Jeff can bring out the best in every student due to his patient, kind, yet firm demeanor.
