MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morris County Park Police made several arrests over the past week, including for drugs at a local skating rink. Read about those arrests, as written by police, here:
-1/13: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Jefferson Township. An investigation led to Brandon A. Omokaro, age 28, of South Orange, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was released with a court date pending.
-1/13: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Morris Plains. An investigation revealed Weylin J. Marte, age 23, of Jersey City, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Jersey City Municipal Court. He was able to post the required bail and was released with a court date pending.

-1/14: ARREST FOR WARRANTS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop in Hanover Township. An investigation revealed John A. Schalchi, age 50, of Parsippany, to have warrants for failure to appear in Parsippany and Hanover Township Municipal Courts. He was turned over to the custody of the Parsippany Police Department.
-1/14: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers were conducting a crowd control detail at the Mennen Sports Arena in Morris Township when they observed a suspicious group of individuals. An investigation led to a juvenile to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. The juvenile was released to a parent with a court date pending.

-1/15: ARREST FOR WARRANTS: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for an equipment violation in Morristown. An investigation revealed Roger Harris, age 48, of Morristown, to have four warrants for failure to appear in Newark City Municipal Court. He was released with a new court date pending.
