
MORRISTOWN, NJ — A tornado watch, which was originally issued Friday morning, has been extended in Morris County. The watch now expires at 10 p.m.
The watch is also in place in the following New Jersey counties: Bergen, Essex, Mercer, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Somerset, Passaic, Sussex, Union and Warren.
The tornado watch means tornadoes are possible in and near the watch area. Residents in the watch area should be ready to act quickly if a warning is issued.

Officials urge the public to stay safe and report any weather-related damages by calling 911.
