Train Derailment Repairs Disrupt Morris Lines: See Delays
New train schedules will be implemented until further notice as repairs are made.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A train derailment that shut down Morris and Essex lines this weekend will continue to cause delays for train riders.
On Friday night, a slow-speed non-passenger work train derailed after departing from Summit Station in Union County. The derailment forced NJ Transit to suspend service along the Morris and Essex lines on Saturday and Sunday.
As workers continue to make repairs near Summit Station, Morris and Essex Line and Gladstone Branch rail service is subject to up to 20-minute delays in both directions between Millburn and Summit Stations, according to NJ Transit.
