Eastbound Morris Street To Remain Closed Until Friday Evening: Police
Officials updated drivers on the partial closure after an earlier utility issue, and said there is a detour in place.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Part of Morris Street will remain closed until around 8 p.m. after a utility issue in the area where crews are putting in a new sewer line, Morristown Police said.
Morris Street eastbound is closed at Ridgedale Avenue, and police asked drivers to follow detours at Morris Street to Elm Street.
Drivers can use Elm Street to Franklin Street to Ford Avenue, or use their navigation apps to get around the closure.

Work crews are installing 475 feet of new sanitary sewer main between Ridgedale Avenue and Ford Avenue, and the road is expected to be partially closed until July.
