
It was a warm one in March. But, don't just take our word for it.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has released its March 2012 National Overview report citing, among other findings, the average temperature across the U.S. was 8.6 degrees above the 20th century average.
"Every state in the nation experienced at least one record warm daily temperature in March, totaling 15,272 warm temperature records broken," according to an AccuWeather.com article. "The Northeast had its warmest March in 118 years this year, averaging 44.4 degrees F, 9.8 degrees above the average for the region."
