Woman Accused Of Threats Against North Jersey McDonald's: Reports

Police told media outlets the woman made bomb threats to a local McDonald's.

FRANKLIN, NJ — A Wantage woman is accused of making bomb threats against a Franklin McDonald's restaurant Monday morning, police told media outlets.

Amanda Toth, 26, is accused of sending a bomb threat to the franchise owner of the Franklin McDonald's Monday morning, NJ Herald reported. Toth is also accused of sending a smiliar message to an employee.

Police searched the building and found no bombs, NJ.com reported. After the search, another threat was made against an employee and their home. The home was searched and nothing was found there either.

Toth was charged with causing false public alarm, identity theft and cyber harassment, jail records show. The case is pending a grand jury review.
