Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center Honored By Town

MORRISTOWN, NJ — The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center was honored by the Town of Morristown in recognition of its 125th anniversary.

Mayor Timothy Dougherty presented a proclamation to Mary Courtemanche, President of WAMMC, at a ceremony in council chambers in September. The proclamation recognized WAMMC as an outstanding volunteer organization over the past 125 years.

Founded in 1893, the organization has raised over $30 million in their philanthropic efforts. Since 1985, they have partnered with Morristown Medical Center.
