Beloved Newark Mom 'Goes Out Of Her Way' To Make Her Family Happy

NEWARK, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?

Ever since my siblings and I were young, my mom worked hard at everything to make sure that we didn't want for anything. Back in the day, my mom made her hardships look good! And because of that, I nominated her. From birth until present, I can still go to her for advice.. The way she loves and cares for people generally, it's unmatched.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom made A LOT of sacrifices for for children and not once felt any type of way about it. She goes out her way to make sure that everyone around is happy and that alone, makes her happy.
