Charity to Collect Christmas Gifts for Needy Children Worldwide

Two Newark churches are collection points

A Christian charity that collects Christmas gifts for needy children across the world has announced the launch of Operation Christmas Child.

Billed as the largest project of its kind, Operation Christmas Child will be collecting gift-filled shoe boxes at collection points throughout the city in preparation for National Collection Week, Nov. 18-25.

The following locations in Newark have been designated collection sites:
