Newark Film Office Wins Prestigious Design Award

Agency's Web site receives Hermes recognition

The Newark Office of Film + Television (NOFT) website, newarkfilmtv.org, has been honored with the prestigious 2013 Platinum Hermes Creative Award in the category of “Government Website / Overall”.

The 2013 Hermes Creative Awards received close to 6,000 entries from the US and abroad, which competed in 188 categories. About 15 percent of the entries won the Platinum Award, and a list of winners can be found online at hermesawards.com.

“I am proud to congratulate the Newark Office of Film + Television on their creative successes and their lasting contributions to Newark’s artistic community,” said Mayor Cory A. Booker.

NOFT’s website was designed and built by DreamPlay Media, a branding and digital media company. DreamPlay Media was responsible for the development of the Newark Office of Film + Television’s brand identity, which included the website, as well as original logo design, print corporate identity, and custom social media channels.
