Newark Resident Honored by FDU

McKen has served with the school's public safety department for 15 years

Fairleigh Dickinson University has recognized a Newark resident for reaching a career milestone with the school’s Florham campus.

Kayon McKen, a public safety sergeant, marks his 15th anniversary with the school. He was honored during a luncheon earlier this month attended by Peter Wooley, the university’s provost, and Barry Sheffield, assistant director of communications.

FDU is the state’s largest private university, offering more than 100 liberal arts and professional degree programs.
