NJ Devils Players Visit Local Hospitals To Spread Holiday Cheer (PHOTOS)

Together, the hockey ambassadors delivered gifts, signed autographs and took photos with eager sports fans.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Sometimes “Devils” can be angels, too.

Several New Jersey Devils players and staff took part in a heartwarming annual tradition on Tuesday, visiting hospitals across the RWJBarnabas Health system to spread some holiday cheer.

Together, the hockey ambassadors delivered gifts, signed autographs and took photos with eager sports fans, including patients, physicians, nurses and other staff.

In Newark, Timo Meier, Luke Hughes and Jack Hughes showed up at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey – where they were greeted with smiles and open arms.

Nearby in Livingston, a group that included Jacob Markstrom, Ondrej Palat, Jesper Bratt, Stefan Noesen and Connor Brown brought some smiles to faces at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
