Tractor Trailer Crash Near NJ Turnpike In Essex County Causes Traffic Delays
"Use caution, slow down and expect delays," officials advised.
NEWARK, NJ — A tractor trailer crashed in Essex County near the New Jersey Turnpike on Monday, causing delays for commuters ahead of the morning rush hours.
The crash closed multiple northbound lanes near Routes 1 & 9 and the turnpike in Newark, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
“Use caution, slow down and expect delays,” NJDOT officials advised.

A video posted by News 12 New Jersey shows construction materials and debris spilled across the highway.
