Noah is a terrific young man who has committed himself to excelling at everything he does. Whether in school, on the sports field, or in the community, Noah has dedicated countless hours to performing his personal best and serving others. I would like to nominate Noah because I feel strongly he deserves the recognition. Noah has achieved academic excellence, he is a 4.0 GPA student, enrolled in the honors program with rigorous course work, and a member of all the honor societies (math, science, business, language, English, etc). Noah has excelled on the field of sports playing soccer, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, and track and field. He has been named Captain of his soccer team at club and high school level, received all-star honors, and was named scholar-athlete of the year. He has represented his High school in academic competitions and has been elected to leadership positions in several of his school clubs. Nevertheless, in the last few months, he has had to deal with some adverse events that have made him shift his belief system and as a parent, it is distressing to see your child confront head-on some of the hard facts of life. Learning that even when you prepare, you do all the right things, and you check all the boxes as they say, sometimes life isn't always fair. Our hope as parents is that we can guide our children through the challenges and even soften the pains of disappointment wherever possible. Nevertheless, part of the adjustment of entering adulthood is being resilient and persevering through the challenges. As a parent, I want him to be able to see what he has accomplished and recently it seems he has been unable to recognize all his achievements. Maybe being recognized by someone other than his parents may help him see what everyone else can see.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

One thing I want everyone to know about Noah is his exceptional leadership skills remarkable resilience in the face of challenges and perseverance with great determination.
