NEW MILFORD, NJ — The Greater Bergen County YMCA invites families to learn more about its four day camp programs for children ages 6-10 coming to Greater Bergen County YMCA - New Milford Center this summer. The Y has planned three Open Houses on March 15, April 20, and May 13 for families to hear more about daily camp activities, meet camp directors, and ask questions.
At Y camp programs, children build self-esteem, confidence and social skills in a fun, safe and enriching environment. New Milford camps for 2022 include:

  • Creativity Camp - Half-day camp with wrap-around option where your budding artist will get to experiment using different mediums of art such as clay, paint, stencils, and more, and even explore the performing arts
  • Sports Galore Camp - Half-day camp with wrap-around option that brings the best parts of summer together - being outside, playing games, and having fun with friends
  • Summer’s Fun Camp - Full-day camp packed with creative play, sports and activities
  • STEAM Day Camp - Full-day program where campers will concoct and construct hands-on experiments and projects in science, technology, engineering, art, and math to delight a child’s sense of wonder

The Open House on March 15 will start at 7 p.m. and is virtual. All others will be held at New Milford Center, 1092 Carnation Dr. To register to attend an Open House, please fill out a brief online form.

Financial assistance is available through the Y to eligible families, to help cover the cost of camp programs. To learn more and apply, visit metroymcas.org/fa.
