Russell Warren Graduates West Point

Mayor Subrizi in attendance as New Milford resident Russel S. Warren III graduates West Point.

Russell S. Warren III graduated from West Point Military Academy on May 26 and was commissioned as a second lieutenant.

Prior to entering West Point, Warren served in Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain Division, a division that offers ground support to the 101st Airborne

Warren has been commissioned to serve with the 25th Infantry Division. He will receive four months of training at Fort Sill in Oklahoma where he will be responsible to teach and lead young soldiers. Upon completion of training, Warren will be assigned to Schofield Barracks in Hawaii.

Mayor Ann Subrizi attended Warren's graduation and commission ceremony along with his parents, Claire and Russell Warren. 

"It was with great honor that I attended the West Point Academy graduation ceremony where New Milford’s own Russell Warren III graduated and was commissioned as a second lieutenant," Subrizi said.
