Watch Police Rescue Ducklings From New Milford Storm Drain
Police and a DPW staff members jumped into action and reunited the babies with their mother.
NEW MILFORD, NJ — Ten ducklings were rescued from a borough storm drain Sunday morning.
Police got a call about the ducklings being stuck in a storm drain on Milford Avenue at about 11 a.m., said Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders.
Sgt. Daniel Lamorges and Officer Jeffrey Compesi and a Department of Public Works employees responded. The DPW employee lifted the sewer grate and the three men pulled the ducks to safety.

The ducklings were reunited with their mother. They were not injured, Van Saders said.
