NEW MILFORD, NJ — Ten ducklings were rescued from a borough storm drain Sunday morning.Police got a call about the ducklings being stuck in a storm drain on Milford Avenue at about 11 a.m., said Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders. Sgt. Daniel Lamorges and Officer Jeffrey Compesi and a Department of Public Works employees responded. The DPW employee lifted the sewer grate and the three men pulled the ducks to safety. The ducklings were reunited with their mother.
