Oakland Man In Municipal Court With Kid Charged With DUI: Police
Officers saw a man in the court who appeared to be under the influence of something, police said.
OAKLAND, NJ — A borough man was arrested after police found him under the influence of something in Municipal Court recently, authorities said.
Jared Spingler, 37, was charged with driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child, said Lt. Christian Eldridge.
Police officers found Spingler in court Thursday, Eldridge said. He appeared to be heavily under the influence of an unknown substance and had a young child with him, Eldridge said.

Spingler was arrested and lodged in the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack.
