Ocean City's Christmas parade, Santa visits, horse carriage rides and more. Get into the festive spirit with these events this weekend.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Looking for ways to get in the holiday spirit in Ocean City? Check out these activities happening this weekend.
Christmas Parade: Ocean City's annual Christmas Parade steps off Friday at 6 p.m. with bands, floats and performers marching down Asbury Avenue. The parade will start at Sixth Street and proceed to 11th Street.
Train Show: Model trains will be on display and for sale at Ocean City’s annual train show on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier. Admission is free.

Free Horse and Carriage Rides: Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. with boarding at Sixth Street and Asbury Avenue. Riders may have to queue up well in advance of 3 p.m. Rides will run weekends through Dec. 18-19.
Visits With Santa: Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mark Soifer Park (Ninth Street and Asbury Avenue). People can also take photos with Santa in an OCBP Lifeguard Boat from noon to 3 p.m. at the Ocean City Music Pier. Both events will run weekends through Dec. 18-19.

Cape Shore Chorale Holiday Concert: Cape Shore Chorale under the direction of Scott J. Breiner will present a free concert and sing-along of holiday favorites at 3 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church at 2998 Bay Ave. The nearly 50-member chorus will be accompanied by pianist Gae Finch and instrumentalist Andrew Ehrhardt. Light refreshments will be served after the concert. Donations are welcomed.
