76-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed In Atlantic City Crash
Harris L. Jacobs of Atlantic City was charged in connection with the death of a local resident, authorities said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - A New Jersey man was charged with leaving the scene of a hit and run that killed a 76-year-old pedestrian in Atlantic City on Sunday, authorities said.
Harris L. Jacobs, 26, of Atlantic City, was charged with second degree leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash in connection with the death of Orlando Fraga, also of Atlantic City, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The crash occurred at around 3:35 a.m. on the 1800 block of Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City, authorities said.

Jacobs is currently lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing.

The investigation leading to Jacobs' arrest was a joint effort from the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office and Atlantic City police.
