A NJ man who has been previously convicted of child porn possession admitted Wednesday to having more child sexual abuse images.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – An Atlantic City man who has been previously convicted of child porn possession admitted Wednesday to having images of more child sexual abuse, federal authorities said.

Cory Newman, 44, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Christine P. O’Hearn in Camden federal court to one count of possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.

On May 20, 2021, Department of Homeland Security agents served a search warrant at Newman’s Atlantic City home and found electronic devices containing numerous videos and images of children being sexually abused. At least three images of child pornography “that involved a prepubescent minor and a minor who had not attained 12 years old age” was recovered, federal officials said.
