The regular crowd at the Ocean City Aquatics and Fitness Center saw a different kind of workout on Wednesday afternoon.
Colleen Pema and Debbie McDonald were practicing for a national masters competition in synchronized swimming.
Pema, 46, of Columbus, Ohio, vacations with her family every summer in Ocean City. McDonald, 51, came down from her home in Kennett Square, Pa.
The national competition is scheduled for October in New Mexico.
