District and Teachers Reach Tentative Agreement on Contract
Ocean City teachers have been working without a contract since June 2011.

The school district and the teachers' union have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract, Board of Education member Joe Clark reported on Wednesday.
No details on the new contract or the negotiations are able to be released, because the agreement is still tentative.
But Clark told the Board of Education at its public meeting Sept. 26 that he expects the board to be able to vote on the contract at the next meeting Oct. 17.
