'Dumpster Day' Set for Friday Into Saturday

Ocean City encourages property owners to get rid of unwanted bulk items on June 7 and 8.

The city's "Dumpster Day" will run from noon Friday (June 7) through 3 p.m. Saturday (June 8).

The popular annual event gives Ocean City residents and homeowners a chance to get rid of unwanted bulk items.

The city's Public Works Department will set up dumpsters at 23 locations throughout the city. The dumping of hazardous waste, chemicals or fluids will not be permitted — the same with recyclable items, such as televisions and computers.
