Five Things to Know About City Council's Thursday Agenda
Audit of city finances and the Master Plan process will be discussed on Sept. 13.

City Council has a full agenda for its public meeting 7 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 13) in Council Chambers on the third floor of , but here are five things that might be of special interest:
- City Council will hear a report on the results of the 2011 audit of city finances. The annual independent audits can include recommendations to address any deficiencies.
- City Council will discuss the Master Plan re-examination. The Ocean City Planning Board is in the final stages of updating a document that helps guide zoning and land-use decisions for the city.
- City Council will vote to approve a contract for work in the second phase of irrigation improvements on public property.
- City Council will vote to authorize "the prequalification of bidders procedures for the New Jersey Historic Trust Grant for the 4th Street Life Saving Station."
- City Council will vote to approve a contract with J. P. Bainbridge & Associates, Inc. for commercial appraisal services.
