Friday Barbecue Benefits OCBP's Bill Lamon
The Ocean City Beach Patrol senior guard suffered a spinal injury before the start of the 2013 season.

Bill Lamon — a lifeguard who served Ocean City Beach Patrol from 1974 to 1980, then returned as a senior guard from 2003 to 2012 — was expecting to continue his service in 2013, but he sustained a devastating spinal cord injury on Memorial Day Weekend this year.
He survived emergency surgery at Crozier Chester Hospital and has been undergoing rehabilitation for the past two months at Magee Rehab Hospital in Philadelphia.  Lamon has significant functional deficits and paralysis to his right side. Unable to walk without assistance, he is working to regain these functions.
Bill needs our support, as we celebrate another South Jersey Lifeguard Championship Race. Â Please join us for a Post Jersey Celebration immediately following the 2013 Jersey's in Margate.
