Help Send OCHS Surf Team to Nationals
The 19-time regional championship team holds a fundraiser tonight in Somers Point.
The Ocean City High School surfing team won the National Scholastic Surfing Association Northeast Championship for the 19th straight time on April 15, and tonight supporters will hold a fundraiser to help the team travel to California to seek a national title in June.
Everybody is invited to DiOrio's Circle Cafe (on MacArthur Boulevard in Somers Point) for an event that includes a buffet and cash bar.
The event will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (May 15) and admission is $20.
