House Engulfed In Flames In Ocean City: Officials
No one was injured in the fire late Friday night.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — A house fire Friday night was quickly extinguished with no injuries, according to the Ocean City Fire Department.
Authorities responded to the fire shortly before 11 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the area of 1st and Atlantic avenues. The blaze was next door to the Island Grill, the restaurant shared on Facebook.
Heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from the back of the house, officials said.

Island Grill shared their appreciation for the fire department.
"Our neighbors house caught on fire, and it was immediately engulfed in flames," Island Grill said. "They quickly took control of the fire and kept our restaurant from the flames."
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
