Images From the South Ocean City Bike Parade

A bit of hot and humid weather on July 4 didn't stop 1,014 people from participating in the annual South Ocean City Improvement Association (SOCIA) Fourth of July Bike Parade. 

In addition to the multitude of bicycles, participants included the Miss Night in Venice contestants, Miss Ocean City, Little Miss Ocean City and Ocean City firefighters. Prizes and free refreshments were distributed at the playground (53rd and Haven) after the parade. SOCIA has sponsored the event since 1954.
