Junior Miss Ocean City To Be Crowned on Saturday

The annual pageant is set for 7 p.m. Saturday on the Ocean City Music Pier.

One of 17 contestants will be crowned the new Junior Miss Ocean City during a pageant 7 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 20) at the Ocean City Music Pier.

Tickets are $10 for the event and will be available at the door on the night of the show or at the Public Relations Office on the second floor of City Hall on Friday during business hours.

Among the highlights of the pageant are group production numbers, individual talent performances and on-stage questions that gauge poise. At the end of the night, the new Junior Miss Ocean City will be crowned by reigning Junior Miss Kylie Clearkin.

The pageant is open to girls ages 12 to 15 who live in Ocean City, attend Ocean City public schools or whose parents own property in Ocean City.

The new Junior Miss Ocean City will make appearances throughout the year in parades and other Ocean City events, along with Miss Ocean City Devon Vanderslice and Little Miss Ocean City Paige Aita.
