Missing NJ Man With Dementia Found Dead: NJ State Police
A missing Cape May Courthouse man was found dead Thursday, state police said. He was last seen Tuesday.
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ - A missing Cape May Courthouse man reported missing on Tuesday was found dead Thursday, authorities said.
Roy Osmundsen, 54, who suffers from dementia, was last seen on Sept. 27 at about 9:51 p.m., New Jersey State Police said. He had walked away from his vehicle on State Highway 55 south around milepost 35 in Vineland, police said.
Osmundsen’s son Daniel told NJ.com that the Cape May Courthouse resident had exited the vehicle after a dispute with the driver. The son added that his father was found under an overpass on Route 55 in South Jersey, near the last location he was seen.

The cause of Osmundsen's death and circumstances leading up to it are still under investigation, state police said.
