New Owners Take Over Ocean City's Varsity Inn
The popular Varsity Inn reopened with new owners, a refreshed dining room, but still the same menu you know and love.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Craving some delicious tomato soup? Good news. Varsity Inn has reopened as of Friday, with new owners, a refreshed dining room and the same beloved menu.
Owner Keith Symonds retired as of Feb. 7, Varsity Inn shared in a Facebook post. But the torch has been passed to the McCarthy family, Varsity Inn's new owners, who promise that all favorites will be kept on the menu.

The restaurant opened Friday morning for a soft opening before a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m., celebrating Varsity Inn's grand reopening.
Varsity Inn has been closed since late December when a broken pipe caused water damage.

And no worries for Red Raider combo lovers - the menu and recipes are staying the same, so you'll still be able to enjoy your beloved grilled cheese and tomato soup.
