No Beach Sweep In Ocean City, But Other Towns Are Doing It
Though the annual spring beach sweep has been canceled in Ocean City, volunteers can still participate at these towns in Cape May County.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Ocean City's annual beach cleanup has been canceled this spring due to outdoor capacity limitations.
“Due to the popularity of Ocean City’s spring beach cleanup event and the 50-person limit on outdoor gatherings, Ocean City will not participate in the Clean Ocean Action Spring Beach Sweeps this spring,” said Mayor Jay Gillian in a news release.
Officials have canceled other large events in recent weeks due to crowd limitations including the Doo Dah Parade and the Spring Block Party. Read More: Ocean City Cancels Spring Block Party Due To Coronavirus Concerns
