No Lifeguards On Duty In Ocean City Until Summer 2022
Lifeguards are officially off duty. The Ocean City Beach Patrol will not be staffing any beaches until the summer season of 2022.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Beach Patrol will not be staffing any beaches until the summer season of 2022.
“The Ocean City Beach Patrol would like to thank the beach patrons of Ocean City for a great season and their help in keeping the beaches safe during the summer of 2021,” officials said.
The 2022 Ocean City Beach Patrol Ocean Lifeguard Test will tentatively be held on June 4. The beach patrol encourages candidates to start training in the off-season.

Candidates must be 16 years of age by Aug. 15, complete a physical, and application prior to the test. More information can be found here.
