Ocean City Election: Crowley Wins 1st Ward Race; BOE Results

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Terrence Crowley has won the 1st ward race for Ocean City Council, according to unofficial election results.

In the general election, First Ward voters in Ocean City voted for a representative to complete an unexpired term on city council.

Eleven candidates also ran for three open seats in the school board election. Henry (Disston) Vanderslice received the most votes at 1,809, followed by Chris Halliday with 1,481 and Jacqueline McAlister with 1,295.

Here are the unofficial results, according to the Cape May County Board of Elections. The results do not become official until the election board certifies them, usually later in November.
