Ocean City Air Shows Fly on Sunday
An air festival at the Municipal Airport is Saturday (Sept. 14) and the Ocean City Aerobatic Airshow is Sunday (Sept. 15).

Stunt pilots will perform a two-hour air show over the beach and Ocean City Boardwalk 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.
The annual Boardwalk Aerobatic Airshow is free to spectators and can be seen best anywhere along the oceanfront between Fifth and 14th streets.
The show is preceded by the annual Air Festival at the Ocean City Municipal Airport 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. Admission is free.

The event on Saturday will feature ground displays of World War II bombers, including the B -25J Mitchell Bomber and WW2 Grumman TBM Avenger. There will be air demonstrations and ground displays of Classics, Antiques, Ultra Lights, War Birds, Home Builts, Military Vehicles and Antique Cars.
The event also includes model airplane flying demonstrations by the New Jersey Pine Barons RC Club of Mt. Laurel and a banner pick up. Helicopter and airplane rides will be available for a fee. In addition there will be a kite festival by Air Circus of Ocean City, face-painting, a paper airplane contest and refreshments.

There will be free shuttle service from the Shelter Road parking lot located off Tennessee Avenue near the bay. The Municipal Airport is at 26th Street and Bay Avenue. For information, call (609) 525-9223 or visit www.ocnj.us.
The Boardwalk Aerobatic Air Show on Sunday afternoon will feature Team AeroDynamix, Jerry Wells Bucker Jungmeister Aerobatics, Kevin Russo SNJ-6, Raiders Flight Demonstration Team, Andrew McKenna P-51 D Mustang, Vintage T-6/SNJ Formation Flights, Jason Flood Pitts S1T Aerobatics and more.
