Ocean City Beach Patrol Women Win Invitational
The annual lifeguard competition was held at 34th Street Beach on July 24.
The Ocean City Beach Patrol won its third consecutive Women's Invitational title on Wednesday evening in their home surf at 34th Street in Ocean City.
The OCBP women placed in the top three in every event to win the team title with 20 points.
Sea Isle City was second with 15 points, followed by Wildwood Crest (14), Stone Harbor (10) and Longport (7).
Ocean City's row-swim team of Rachel Boudart and Holly Berenotto led from the start and won the event easily. The same team finished second in the sprint doubles event.
Ocean City rookie Lexi Santer finished second in the box swim to Stone Harbor's Hayley Edwards. Ocean City's Erin Curry took third in the paddleboard, and Ocean City's surf dash team of Carly Wray, Lexi Santer, Samantha Brady and Erin Myers took third.
