Ocean City Beating the Heat on Thursday
The ocean temperature is 76 degrees on Thursday morning.

Parts of southern New Jersey are under a National Weather Service heat advisory through 8 p.m. Thursday (July 18), but a light wind and a mild ocean are expected to keep temperatures cooler in Ocean City.
The advisory warns of a heat index (a combination of temperature and humidity) between 103 and 107 on Thursday afternoon for parts of the mainland.
But in Ocean City on Thursday morning, a light southwest breeze is taking the edge off the heat. And beachgoers are enjoying ocean temperatures of 76 degrees — the warmest the water has been all year.
