Ocean City Community Association Elects New Officers
Bob Barr is chosen as the new president of the community organization.

The Ocean City Community Association elected new officers at its June meeting, and the new slate is as follows:
- Bob Barr – President
- Frank McCall – First Vice-President
- John Van Stone – Second Vice-President
- Bob Dubil – Recording Secretary
- Gerry Daney – Membership Secretary
- Ray Snyder – Treasurer
"Our priorities remain the same," Barr said after his election. "We want to inform our members about the topics that matter to them, such as flooding and drainage, roads, and other capital projects. "We are also concerned with the other important areas of our community such as the.beach and the boardwalk."
Barr said the group will continue to do a number of environmental cleanups to remove trash from our community and continue to form working committees to address various issues.
"You should know that we have created a new back bay dredging committee that will work with the administration," Barr said. "In any way we can to assist with the dredging problem in town."
 Van Stone was named chair of the new Bay and Lagoon Dredging Committee. Other appointments are as follows:
- Bicycle Advocacy Committee:Â Drew Fasy

- Public Relations Committee: Curt Gronert
- Drainage Committee:Â Marty Mozzo

- Planning & Zoning Committee: Marc Shuster
