OCHS Crew Program Thanks School As It Turns 10
The Ocean City Crew Boosters give Dr. Christine Lentz a retired oar to thank her for her support of the program.

The Ocean City High School Crew Boosters and some senior team members took some time out on Wednesday afternoon to present the school's athletic director, Dr. Christine Lentz, with a decorative team oar to thank her for her support of the program in its first decade.
In its 10-year history, the Ocean City High School crew team has grown from a fledgling program to one that includes more than 100 rowers and boasts four boats that have captured national titles.
The program includes 50 new rowers this year and continues to grow.
Ocean City has the only high school crew program in Cape May County, and it has some of the most promising young talent in the competitive South Jersey/Philadelphia region. The boys' freshman eight won gold in the prestigious Stotesbury Cup Regatta in the spring.
Coach Mike Millar said on Wednesday that the program encourages new rowers to give the sport a try, and no experience is necessary. For more information, visit ochscrew.com.
