Philly Favorite Café Opens At Ocean City's Chatterbox

OCEAN CITY, NJ — Philadelphia breakfast lovers spending summer down the shore will be pleased to know that a local favorite has opened its newest location by the beach.

Green Eggs Café is now open daily at the Chatterbox from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

And Chatterbox lovers need not worry - it's still open, this new brunch is simply an addition.

For those not familiar with Green Eggs Café, this brunch restaurant boasts having high quality food in an eco-friendly atmosphere.

Their products are either bought locally or made in-house, and everything is either recyclable or compostable.

Now, don't think that just because it's eco-conscious that everything is super healthy. You can still find vegan or other healthier options on the menu, but you can also find massive, stuffed French toast options and different styles of eggs benedict.

Those with a sweet tooth will love the carrot cake French toast (a literal slice of cake stuffed between two slices of challah bread, with tons of toppings) or the cookie dough stuffed French toast (exactly what it sounds like!).

More of a savory fan? No problem, try their chicken and waffles benedict, or "the kitchen sink" - a combination of three scrambled eggs with sausage crumbles, gruyere cheese, potatoes, peppers, onions, topped with sausage gravy and jumbo biscuit, served in a cast iron skillet.
