Power Outage Planned In Ocean City On Tuesday Morning

Ocean City residents may lose power on Tuesday morning around 7:15 a.m. while Atlantic City Electric works on energy equipment.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — A planned power outage will go into effect in Ocean City on Tuesday morning while Atlantic City Electric works on energy equipment.

For Atlantic City Electric to safely conduct the work, customers must experience a service interruption. Officials expect the outage to take place around 7:15 a.m. and last for approximately 15 minutes.

The outage will impact only parts of Ocean City, including properties on and near Bay Avenue between Battersea Road and 10th Street, along with many streets in the Gardens.

Streets that will be affected are marked in purple in this map of the outage area.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this power outage may cause you. Please note that scheduling for this outage is subject to change based on weather conditions and other system factors,” officials with Atlantic City Electric said.
