Registration Opens For Annual Baby Parade In Ocean City

The 114th annual Baby Parade is set for Aug. 14. Registration is now open.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — One of Ocean City's most iconic summer events is returning for its 114th year on Aug. 8, and registration is now open.

All families with children age 10 and under are invited to participate in the annual Baby Parade, which kicks off at 10:30 a.m. Bands, performing groups and commercial floats are also encouraged to join in the fun.

The city also crowns a teen "Queen Infanta" as part of the fun, a tradition dating back to 1929.

The parade goes from 6th Street to 12th Street on the Boardwalk, with cars, special guests, floats and musical acts continuing to 14th Street.

Participation trophies and other awards will be given out at the end of the parade. If you are interested in registering your child, visit the Ocean City website.
