Second Benefit for Paralyzed Firefighter Set for Oct. 14
The public is invited to another "Throw Down" for Danny Margagliano on Oct. 14.
Friends and fellow firefighters are planning to "Throw Down for Danny" again.
The "Throw Down for Danny Round 2" to benefit Danny Margagliano will be held 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Ocean City Yacht Club.Â
Margagliano is a firefighter in South Walton, FL, who broke his neck in April in a dive off a boat into shallow water in Florida.

Margagliano, 36, was born and raised in Upper Township, graduated from Ocean City High School and earned a reputation as a legendary local surfer before moving to Florida several years ago.

All proceeds will help Margagliano and his family with medical expenses. The Margaglianos will be in attendance at the event after making the trip up from Florida.Â
Margagliano's spinal cord injury left him paralyzed. His wife, April, son Ethan, and daughter Summer have been affected greatly by the tragic accident and are currently struggling, according to Bricker.Â
Margagliano's insurance does not cover the costs of an expensive rehab or the expenses of Project Walk in Atlanta, where he hopes to get out of his wheelchair and walking. Project Walk does very aggressive physical training with weight-bearing exercises.Â
