Sign Language Classes Available At Ocean City Library
The Ocean City Free Public Library will offer seven, virtual American Sign Language classes beginning next week through June.
OCEAN CITY, NJ — The Ocean City Free Public Library will offer seven American Sign Language classes beginning next week through June.
These beginner ASL classes will be held virtually on Zoom. During the classes an emphasis will be placed on developing communication skills using ASL.
Instructors said the interactive activities will increase participants’ understanding of ASL and the deaf culture. The classes will require active participation.

Classes will be held on Mondays, 6:30 to 8 p.m., on the following dates:
- April 26
- May 3
- May 17
- May 24
- June 7
- June 21
- June 28
Registration for the classes is required. Instructors urge people to register soon as spots are limited.
